چکیده
Cropland suitability assessment is an essential technique for agricultural development and future planning. It evaluation to determine how suitable the land growing a specific crop in particular region based on multiple parameters like soil, climate, topography, socio-economic condition, infrastructure, irrigation, existing use/land cover environmental aspects. The paper presents different multi-criteria (MCE) techniques such as Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Fuzzy (FAHP), Analytic Network (ANP), Technique Order of Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) ELimination Et Choice Translating REality (ELECTRE) approaches integrated with geospatial technology, namely remote sensing Geographical Information System cropland assessment. Review findings indicate that AHP was used by53% researchers, followed FAHP (16%); ANP (6%); TOPSIS ELECTRE (3%) other (16%) or without technology. approach MCE 69%, among which 72%; whereas, 22% 9% alone. results from selected research articles also indicated most important input were topography climate 97%, 88% 74% respectively. review can be helpful researchers decision-makers select robust methods standard required achieve higher production sustained basis.

We developed a method that analyzes the quality of the cultivated cropland class mapped in the USA National Land Cover Database (NLCD) 2006. The method integrates multiple geospatial datasets and a Multi Index Integrated Change Analysis (MIICA) change detection method that captures spectral changes to identify the spatial distribution and magnitude of potential commission and omission errors fo...

Precise knowledge about factors influencing the habitat suitability of a certain species forms the basis for the implementation of effective programs to conserve biological diversity. Such knowledge is frequently gathered from studies relating abundance data to a set of influential variables in a regression setup. In particular, generalised linear models are used to analyse binary presence/abse...
